Engineering Resume Intelligence

Your engineering experience is better than your resume.

FirmwareCV helps engineers uncover technical achievements, measurable impact, and important experience they may have left out — then rewrites their resume for their target role.

A generic AI rewrites what you give it. FirmwareCV helps you find what you left out.

Most engineers already have the achievements — they just never wrote them down. A blank prompt box doesn't fix that. A guided workflow does.

Generic AI (ChatGPT, etc.)
A general-purpose writing tool
  • ✕ Only rewrites what you happen to paste in
  • ✕ Requires you to know the right prompts to get a good result
  • ✕ Generic understanding of careers — not your specific engineering discipline
FirmwareCV
A guided workflow built for engineers
  • ✓ A guided, engineering-specific workflow — no prompt engineering required
  • ✓ Asks targeted questions to surface achievements you left out
  • ✓ Collects real technical context: scale, metrics, tools, and standards
  • ✓ Tailors the rewrite to your specific target role and discipline

See it across engineering disciplines.

Who's behind this.

FirmwareCV is a small, focused tool for engineers — firmware, software, hardware, and adjacent disciplines — who are good at the work and not always great at describing it. The guided question workflow exists because most engineers undersell their own impact, not because they lack it.

We're not a staffing agency, a recruiter, or a job board, and we don't promise interviews or job offers — see our Terms of Service for details.

Questions, feedback, or an issue with your order? Email info@firmwarecv.com — we read every message.

Don't worry about formatting. Plain text is perfect. The more detail you give, the better our rewrite.

Tip: Include dates, company names, team sizes, technologies, and any numbers you remember (even approximate)
Fill the gaps

Most engineers undersell their own scope, technical depth, and leadership. These grouped questions help surface what your resume is missing. Answer what you can — skip what doesn't apply.
